Pradosham is a specific window of time that occurs during the 13^th Moon Phase.  It is believed that the energy during this time makes it easier to dissolve and release karma and negative realities.

As we work toward our highest evolution in 2012, it is essential to process and release old habits, negative thought patterns and heart sorrows. Here is a practical tip to help you break through stubborn karma and embrace new beginnings.

Lime Technique

The Lime Technique is simple method used to clear karmic patterns and negativity. The citric acid in the lime has the ability to absorb these energies.  (For this technique you can also use a lemon, coconut or pumpkin).

Take the lime and roll it over your head, throat, shoulders, and chest (heart center).  Recite the sounds: Thiru Neela Kantam Makaral Shivayanama at each one of these areas.  As you roll the lime, allow your burdens, sorrows, and limitations to pass from your physical body into the lime.

Once you have rolled the lime, cut it and throw it away.  Make sure you wash your hands and clean up any lime juice.

This technique may be practiced every day and especially on Pradosham days.  You may use just 1 lime or you may want to use 9, 27, or 108 limes.  If you want to remove old programs more quickly, cut more limes each day.

2012 is a significant year and from this time onward, we should try to live a different life – a very conscious life. We have been living a three-dimensional version of our thoughts and emotions from past lives.  Now is the time to look at what we have created in our lives – our job, money, health, and relationships.  We allow these parts of life to distract us. The key is to clean the slate so that we may experience our true self- which is light.

Quantum physics tells us that matter is light; it is fundamentally particles and waves of light. Too often we chose to ignore this fact- that we are light.  We choose to focus more on our career, relationships, or finances.  We believe these things are actually more real than the light that is our true nature.

This is the illusion, also known as Maya.  As we begin to realize that our external life is a distraction from our true self, we must turn our attention inward. Once we begin to look inside, the veil of illusion (Maya) loosens its grip and spirituality awakens within us.  This is when God becomes meaningful.  This is the time for all of the changes to happen.

Up until now, it has been very difficult for us to change because nature was not cooperating. Our DNA was not ready. Now we have help from two astronomical events currently generating an abundance of photon light in space. The first event is the culmination of the 26,000 year cycle of our solar system around the central Sun.  The second astronomical phenomenon is the 225 million year cycle of the Central Sun around the Milky Way galaxy.

It is an extremely favorable time because this abundant photon light can change the quality of our DNA.  Our rationality, our intelligence, and our DNA are all a reflection of the amount of light we have.  This light comes directly from space. With this new photon light, our DNA will be able to develop more strands and, even better; it will be able to turn the body into light.

We must to take advantage of this time.  It is very important to prepare yourself in 2012.

This was the day we were most eagerly waiting for!

We started the day with a journey to the divine birth place of Radha – Barsana – a charming village surrounded by hills from 4 sides. Here, Radha is known as ‘Ladli Ji’ or the beloved of the people, and the group was about to experience that soon.

As we climbed up to the top of the hill to reach her shrine, we were greeted by the sweet sounds of ‘Radhe Radhe’ chanted by devotees reverberating through the morning air.

It was so true what Dr. Pillai had shared with us, “Radha represents the creative principle, just go on saying her name and miracles will happen. You will see that you are able to go beyond your mind, and no meditation can give you this experience. Her name gives both material pleasure as well as spiritual transformation.”

In her presence, Dr. Pillai was received by the priest and honored with Radha’s offerings. Everyone enjoyed the stunning views from the hilltop temple, and this was the perfect setting to receive Dr. Pillai’s soulful teachings.

It was very reassuring for the group when Dr. Pillai told everyone that the soul was indeed receiving the energy and blessings of Radha, whether or not the senses could feel anything.

While we soaked in the vibrations of this vortex, we reflected upon how Radha holds the energy of absolute perfection – perfect beauty. Beauty is indeed power. No wonder, Radha represents the ultimate power, with the ability to control even God.

Blessed with Radha’s grace, it was fitting that we traveled next to Mathura. It is not only the sacred birth place of Krishna, but also mentioned in the scriptures as one of the 7 most holy cities in India.

“The power vortices in India can pull diseases and poverty from your body. I take people on trips to change their destiny. Changing the destiny of people is important to me”, says Dr. Pillai. He explained how a place of power doesn’t lose its energy and how multiple cultures build structures to utilize that power.

This was also the essence of the Trip so far – allow the subtle energy and the quiet power present in each location to shift you internally. By simply ‘being’ in each such spot, you can prepare yourself for the most lasting transformation.

This eventful day concluded on a dramatic note, with a Seminar by Dr. Pillai where he alerted the   group about the impending changes in the world. Every cloud has a silver lining; he revealed that the world will witness different aspects of Krishna during the Golden Age.

“Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya, Glanirva Bhavathi Bharatha,

Abhyuthanam Adharmaysya, Tadatmanam Srijami Aham”

So promised Krishna, in the Bhagavad Gita that whenever there is a decay of righteousness and a rise of falsehood, he will appear again. We all felt that, perhaps, now is the time.

The magical journey continued as we headed towards the Pleasure Garden of Radha and Krishna – Vrindavan.

Dr. Pillai wanted the group’s first initiation into Radha-Krishna consciousness to be in the divine energy of this sacred city.

He had already declared, “Radha and Krishna are inviting us to their place of power, Vrindavan. I will absorb and transmit their energy of a Perfect Life to people throughout the world. The people with me on this Trip have the blessing of being initiated into the Perfection of Radha Krishna Consciousness, and welcoming the Golden Age from the Vortex of Perfection.”

As promised, all the participants experienced an empowering meditation from Dr Pillai in the heavenly premises of the ISKCON temple at Vrindavan.

Then, a 40-year old lady-devotee of Sri Prabhupada, Founder of ISKCON, addressed the group and provided an awe-inspiring tour of Prabhupada’s private quarters.

The best part of the day was when she led us with a heart-rending chant of this power-packed hymn, which Krishna himself revealed to sage Narada:

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare

Fully soaked in the nectar of Bhakti (devotion), we proceeded to visit the wonderful temples of Vrindavan. Riding on speedy cycle-rickshaws, we whizzed through narrow streets while being greeted by wide, smiling faces of the onlookers.

The rich vibrations of Radha and Krishna’s love and perfection could be felt even amidst the apparent poverty. Peace and beauty emanating from this place went beyond the senses, straight into one’s soul. We were so thankful to this authentic city for giving us such a wholesome experience of life.

Thereafter, the group witnessed a rare sight in one of the temples. On one side, we were face-to-face with the oldest Krishna statue on earth, and on the other side, we had Dr. Pillai himself adorned in divine ‘prasad’ from the archetype. The mood soon turned festive.

“Bliss and ecstasy are going to be the keywords, and we are not going to accept anything else”, these words from Dr. Pillai stayed embedded in our hearts as we concluded yet another perfectly blessed day.

Jai Jai Radha Ramana Hari Bol!

On this momentous Radha Krishna Trip, the first stop of the group was the ISKCON temple at New Delhi. It was as if Krishna had personally called everyone here to shower his grace upon them.

As we entered this beautiful temple, Dr. Pillai encouraged the group to form a dance circle. All the participants joined in the ecstatic dance, and felt deeply connected to the Divine Couple Radha and Krishna.

“How are we going to live the Radha Krishna consciousness? Just through dance and music. It’s a sacred music and sacred dance.

Just by repeating certain mantras, you will be transported to another level. All that you need to do is to dance and sing the glory of Radha and Krishna. Through that you can create a wonderful life”, says Dr. Pillai.

By immersing in the devotional chanting and dance, the participants felt that they were in a different realm of ecstasy. This totally rejuvenated them after the long hours of travel. Most importantly, they were able to let go of their inhibitions and ego.

Thereafter, the group received a special gift – fragrant flowers blessed by the deities themselves. This was followed by a magical ‘Sound and Light’ show, where everyone was treated to the transcendental teachings of Krishna from the divine text ‘Bhagavad Gita’.

As Dr. Pillai explains, “The Krishna of Bhagavad Gita teaches worldly action, and the Krishna of Bhagavatam grants inner perfection through dance and music. Both these aspects of Krishna need to come together for a 200% life – 100% material and 100% spiritual.”

This year, we are going to the energy spots where Radha and Krishna were born and lived on earth. Their immaculate power is stored there, and we are fortunate that Dr. Pillai will be awakening that divine energy even more.

Ever since Dr. Pillai “reawakened” the Egyptian Gods and Goddesses during his Birthday Trip last year, we have been “feeding” them and calling upon them just about daily with fire rituals.

It will be no coincidence, according to me, to see Egypt evolve into a new country within a year’s time. Yes, the country is in a transformational phase and has struggles unique to this. But, isn’t transformation all about breaking the ‘old’ to build the ‘new’?

As I begin to reflect on my own spiritual evolution, I begin to understand I have gone through opposing views, ideologies, etc. without creating any intellectual turmoil.

18 years ago there was a time when I almost lost all interest in public speaking.  Once, at a Los Angeles seminar Siva appeared before me and asked me to “shut up”.  Why do you bark like a dog?  Is it for money, fame, that you are spreading ignorance to a gullible audience?  He went on and on to say how foolish I was talking to the already “lost souls” who had gathered there for pass time, snob activity and not for enlightenment?

I knew in my heart that what Siva said was true.  The most important thing was before the initiation took place he said “shut up” and “my mind shut up” and I could not speak.  I immediately remembered the initiation of Arunagiri by Muruga.  Arungiri had  jumped off the tower of Tiruvananamalai in an attempt to commit suicide.  Muruga assuming the form of an old man held in the hands of the falling Arunagiri.

Placing Arunagiri on the ground Muruga said to him “cumma iru collora” (be still without words).  Arunagiri mind stopped.  He got into an altered state of consciousness and his wisdom created the hymns called Thiruppugazh.

Mantras, discourses, instructions should be heard from an enlightened guru, an ignorant guru’s instructions work minimally. How is it possible for one know that a particular guru is enlightened or ignorant?  God knows everything.  If you truly long for enlightenment and nothing else he will send the guru to you.  Or he himself will present himself either disguising himself as a human being or an apparition in a mediation or dream.

To go back to where I began- After the LA event which I cancelled after my inability to speak, I spent a few months in silence speaking very little and living by myself in Orange County, CA.  But soon there was a realization that silence was more uglier than speech.  It seemed that there was no way I could avoid filth, so I started speaking again.  But this time I did not feel any problem. I was equally good with silence or speech.

In the last analysis, what makes me happy is the sounds of truth that emanates from the enlightened guru, which go beyond meaning and language. I remember the words of Tirumoolar the Tamil Siddha who said that it is blissful to see the physical form of the guru and hear his words.  The guru’s form and speech constitute the highest form of initiation.
