Radha-Krishna is not simply the story of the Hindu High God Krishna having an adulterous relationship with the beautiful shepherdess Radha who is already married to someone. This is a vulgarized portrayal of a deeply philosophical and yet practical story of the origin of matter and emotions.

Remember that the name Krishna is hallowed. Some Yogi went into several thousands of years of meditation to come up with this sound, so that it could be given to Krishna when he would be born. Similarly, Radha is just not an adulterous lover; she is the supreme and primordial Goddess of power and love.

Their romance symbolizes the meaning of life – the meaning of music from the flute pipe, the meaning of dance, the meaning of beauty, the meaning of immortality hidden behind mortal existence.  This is not simply writing poetry, but understanding physics as well – the physics of physical and non-physical love creating physical matter.

One mystical meaning of Radha, as revealed by Venkataraman Siddha, is that she is the epitome of devotion who carried Krishna’s feet in her heart eternally and even during her sleep. No wonder, this continuous meditation on Krishna without an effort will give you everything. The problem is cerebral, effortful and forceful thinking of a mantra.

Radha reminds one of Cleopatra who said that she never thought about Anthony because she never forgot him. Radha is the ultimate manifesting energy. She represents the primordial cause that creates all effects.

There is no effect without a cause.  Cause and Radha are synonyms.  What is cause?  It is logic, it is meaning, and more importantly an energy that creates both cause and effect.

What is that energy?  It is UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.  It is difficult for human beings to practice unconditional love. All human love is conditional and agenda-orientated. But, Radha-Krishna can help us.

Keep a beautiful statue of Radha, dancing to Krishna’s flute. Throw a few petals of Tulsi leaves over the statue on a daily basis or whenever possible.  You will be initiated into the secret of unconditional love and manifestation of an effect without a cause.

Tulsi is the mystical herb who herself was the beautiful Brinda who was seduced by Vishnu impersonating himself as the demon husband of Brinda.

The story of Radha-Krishna is the story of effortless manifestation through love, dance, and music.  Glory to Radha-Krishna and Tulsi!
