It was my first trip to India, and my first time for meeting Dr. Pillai as well and for many reasons, it was an auspicious time. A lot has transcribed in the passing of the trip (Jan 31st- Feb 1st) and this is a small snippet of my experiences.

I would like to share one of the miracles, which has been a part of this trip- I have been suffering from chronic low back pain for years, “have done everything” for it, on this trip my back did not hurt at all. When I went to my Osteopath for a treatment for post-travel ‘get my body back’ in this time zone-  she said my whole system had re-configured itself. She thought it was the Ayurvedic clinic I went to after the trip, but I know it was the work that was done on the “India Trip”.

This trip seemed to be themed along the lines of “Karma”. It started in a dream one of the first nights, and continued in number of different messages.  Thank you for the words and actions of the teachers that guided me (us) as major karma patterns revealed themselves uncomfortably, yet lovingly.

Experiences like the group getting in bicycle rickshaws in Varanasi that replicated warrior chariots, which were racing through the already wild streets of Varanasi. (Of course, everyone were ‘Peaceful Warriors’ ). Our gigantic bus being pulled safely through the night, to Haridwar, by drivers born and raised in India, who replicated ‘Hanuman’ – and of course the loving, powerful Ganga washing our auras and threads to our ancestors- are some of the experiences that I will never forget.

I miss everyone- all the gods and goddesses, who have been with me in this trip. I have the experiences emblazoned in my mind and someday they will get into my heart, well they already are a part of my heart. I miss the togetherness of chanting, and learning your names, your spiritual names, understanding a whole new vocabulary.

Another small yet powerful incident, which touched me was Dr. Pillai telling us that one night after the lengthy road construction bus ride,  we would not be getting up at 5am, “the group was tired”. That is of course a minor thing but showed how Dr. Pillai watched over the group.

On that note, I am thankful and amazed at all the watching and protecting that went on for 50 people, traveling in India, where the construct is so different and energies swirl and swing, chant and challenge.

Thank you for an amazing trip to India. I think amazing is the best word. There were many powerful experiences that I retain and review and am so thankful.

Since thanks is not enough,

NAMASTE.

Sarah
